HELP! 1989 Batmobile 1/18 Tube Packaging

Hi everyone.
Apologies if this is a dumb question ... or off topic. I recently bought a 1989 Hot Wheels Batmobile 1/18 scale. It’s in the tube packaging issued, I think, in 2004. Does anybody know how to open it??!! I can’t seem to figure it out. The car has never been removed from the packaging, so I don’t know if the tube is stiff - or simply not designed to be opened? I obviously don’t want to force it and break the tube. Picture attached. Has anyone else got one of these? Can you shed any light? Many thanks

I don’t have this model but I have the flocked ‘66 which seems to be the same container~. You take an xacto knife and gently cut into the end removing the glue and tape- the end pops off and the whole thing slides out.
