My wife takes photos of cats at the local animal shelter and posts them on PetFinder for people to find a pet. She had trouble photographing some cats; black cats were a big problem as they just got washed out when using flash. Scott and Ben suggested a reflector system that didn't flash, but was a constant light source.
Here are some of the shots she took this week using the system. The black cats finally get some good photos!
Thanks guys, the cats look great and getting rid of the flash means the cats don't get spooked every time you take a photo.
