Wallopin' Web Snappers!! Spider-Man 67 Custom Figure from Figure Factory. He will available for purchase Saturday at 12 Noon. He is built on a Type S RED Body and includes interchangeable red fist, a protective clamshell and cardbacking with artwork. Artwork by Mike Rogers, Suit by Dan Hayes, Paint by Morton Brown, Sculpt by Hardkor, Resin Print by Chad Gordy. We tried to capture the original feel with the artwork. In the back it features the note that your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man would leave when capturing the villains. A radioactive spider and also some screen shots we all loved seeing when the show start would start. You can almost hear the song right now. Each figure is hand painted so no two are exactly alike. The suit matches up in design better than some factory made ones. SHOP HERE https://www.worldsgreatestsuperheroes.c ... -clamshell

Available July 2 at 12:00 PM EDT (NOW)

By the way, this is the same custom costume i bought, and the head will be painted by the same guy the painted these heads. I'm having him paint my custom parker heads too.

I tried to get a 1/2 Parker 1/2 Spidey head, but the vendor is not interested. also the eye sockets don't line up.

I love the head design (never liked the Mego Spidey head) and if its painted by the same guy who did the 1939 Batman figure it'll be top notch.

I do wish WGSH took pre-orders, I'm not sure why he goes with the "out of stock" listing before it goes live for a few days-- I'd imagine pre-orders would be cost effective, but they can also be a hassle, so maybe that's it.

The eyes ruin it for me. Aside from the missing costume webs the eye style/size is the most important part of the look.

I agree, the heavier black along the top edge of the eyes gives him a "sleepy" look. (Or a "Groucho" vibe, I can't decide).

That said, having those web lines colored in makes for a definite improvement over the original Mego Spidey. And unlike modern Mego figures, the head is actually in scale to the body, so it's got that going for it.

Well I got my figures today and they are spectacular. Once I receive the parker heads, I am sending them to the artist that painted this head, along with a extra Spider-man Mego head with the bigger eyes - I'm having webbing added, then painting the hands to have a figure for my Spider-mobile. just ordered headlights for it (Cox Dune Buggy repro). I'm experimenting with a blue one to start to see how the red paint adheres.

Thanks to Andy, I found a thin black paint pen to provide webbing. I have the pattern for the wheel webheads, just need a cool die cutting device in the correct size.

One will grace the head of the Parker suit, and the second will be in the red jersey/blue jeans.

Why do I feel like that image of the impaled Parker heads is Norman Osborne's desktop wallpaper?

Almost done. Found I need to buy red hands and add webbing. The body I had with the red hands has bad shoulders, so I’m moving to an S body.

Using as S body, and the new 1970’s Peter Parker head, I have a more accurate comic book Peter Parker.

By the way, the new paint thinner I bought has no smell, and doesn’t remove paint.
