New Munsters lunch box

Post by Lou Szabo »

In the same thread I saw there is a new release of the Munsters lunch box

This is not the original design (which I had), but a new version featuring the two vehicles (Barrister designed?) from the show, and a possible tie-in with the new movie.

Very cool! I saw these in person at Monsterpalooza in LA a few weeks ago, I was tempted but instead I actually bought a Munsters Carls Jnr kids meal bucket from the mid 90s.

I wish they'd make these retro lunch boxes lunch box size instead of snack size.

Hey Andy,
I think they are full size boxes. I did not have my Batman or Green Hornet 60's boxes to compare them too, they are in storage.
But I bough The Munsters, Lone Ranger and the James Bond "Dr NO" from factory Entertainment and the appear to to be full size. 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 x 4 "
At least they are not the little candy size repro boxes I have seen before, very Nice sized.
Hope this Helps.

Barris did not design the Munsters Koach or Drag-u-la. They were created by Tom Daniel, but in typical fashion, Barris took credit for the cars (like many cars / designs, including those of Dean Jeffries), also claiming his wife designed the Koach.
