Bucket list item
I finally got a vintage comic spinner rack that I have wanted my whole life. I love it!
Nothing takes me back to my youth more than this, Megos and Slurpee Hero cups.
I had never found one that I could afford or was close enough until now.
I will own this until I don't own anything. Lol
I am contemplating covering the vintage header with a repo of the "Hey!! Kid's Comics". Is that stupid of me?
This picture is soon as it got home and doesn't represent its final books or location. Unless my wife says it can stay in our living room. Lol

Sweet. That's a great find and addition to any comic collection.
I always wanted a poster rack. I had so many posters and I couldn't display them. Everyplace that went out of business said that was the first thing to sell. So I sold all the posters... Argh

I have a painter friend that has a wall of those but really tall that let's you flip through her paintings. Never thought about displaying posters that way.

Apparently more than a few of us have….it uses little space and can display up to 24 posters at a time.

Sweet! I've always wished for one of those myself. The creak of a spinner rack in motion transports me to another time and place as surely as the "Vwoorp, Vwoorp!" of a Tardis. I can still smell the grilled cheese sandwiches at Marshall's Drug Store in Urbana, VA.

Not at all, if you can get hold of one. Or having seen your creations, I guess you could fashion one yourself that would look great. That's the graphic I associate with spinner racks, and if it's what means more to you, you should have it.I am contemplating covering the vintage header with a repo of the "Hey!! Kid's Comics". Re: Bucket list item
I used to have one (the “Hey Kids”). And a smaller counter rack, too. Way back in my teens. Not sure what happened to it. It might still be at my parents’.
Re: Bucket list item
I had a cardboard display box and matching counter display for Marvel Comics. The big display had either 6 or 9 spots for comics. I sold it a decade ago to make room for the new Batmania.

Re: Bucket list item
Diamond did a re-release of the spinner racks a few years ago-- I'd totally go with a Hey Kids Comics sign!

I didn't see the Diamond product, but a guy was selling them on Kickstarter and they were beautiful. They even had upgraded bearings. I didn't buy one at the time because I wanted a vintage one that had been spun around in a comic shop but they become harder to find every day. A couple friends that own comic shops have been trying to find me one for years.
I had recently discovered the Kickstarter guy had gone away too and I thought I had messed up my best chance at one, but the good Lord rewarded me for my patience.
