Rough unacceptable paint is wet sanded smooth with 2000 grit sandpaper. Wiped with alcohol, ready for paint.

Unfortunately, I’m out of town for the weekend and can’t work on it. At this rate, I’ll finish it by Christmas….maybe!

When I return, this car will be sprayed with gloss black, allowed to dry, then sprayed with semi-gloss clear. If that doesn’t work - it is what it is.

I finally found the right combination - gloss paint with semi gloss clear over it. I’m pretty happy with this result. Boy, the black paint and high def camera pick up every dust speck!

I’m looking forward to detailing the trim and interior. There’s light at the end of the tunnel!

1940 Ford Tudor ==> Hardtop Batmobile!

Post by Lou Szabo »

There is a new release of a 39/40 Ford Tudor Sedan by AMT arriving in a few weeks
It’s the second model they show. Can be built as a ‘39 or ‘40

Just add rear Bat wing (likely from the Batboat)
