Costume completed!
First some thank yous...
Will Reeb(Silverknight58)for his fantastic cowl.
Chuck & Lynn Williams for their great foresight in the creation of their Batman patterns and templates. Also, for answering all my questions that I had.
To everyone on this message board for their help and support.
To my wife (Carla), who supported me on this endeavor and helped me assemble my costume.
My costume history...
I've always been an avid 66 Batman fan. My father worked two jobs and we would always try to watch Batman together. The nights we couldn't watch together we talked about it the next time we were together. I came across this message board and after reading about putting together a costume I decided "why not" and six months later and a lot of help and guidance I have finished it.
From top to bottom:
My cowl was made by Will Reeb. Tights from On Stage Dancewear and dyed by me from the formula off the message board. Bat emblem made from template from Williams Studio and vinyl I purchased on line. Gloves started out as a pair of leather palmed garden gloves that I tore apart and put back together using the same fabric for my trunks, trunks made from Williams Studio pattern. Fabric for trunks and gloves came from Spandex house. Utility belt I made from Williams Studio template from scratch. Case & tubes open. Cape made from Williams Studio pattern and fabric from Joanne's. Boots bought on line and painted by myself. I can't wait to wear this weekend at the first Fan Boy Expo in Tampa.

Love the suit!!! I also like the fact that you have that great memory of watching with your Dad (like me!).
