Living In Adam West's Gotham City
Yes, it's a fictional non-existant town except on the TV screen. I often wondered if I somehow passed the trans-dimensional time and space gateway (huh? what? ) into that world what would I want to do or be? Who would you want to be? Obviously, Batman, Robin, their close allies, and the villains are already taken. So what would we Bat-fans (being well-versed in Gotham City lore) be? On the police force? Some new villain? On the Bat-Parachute Pick-Up crew? I think I would want to be a newscaster keeping on top of all the action going down (although I would've high-tailed it out of the studio before Joker arrived for another edition of 'What's My Crime?').
"Hmmm... I don't like the twist this joke is taking. Let us away! Let us away!"

I'd likely want to be a newspaper journalist, working for one of Gotham City's newspaper, or the traffic signal engineer.

I'd like the be the designer/tailor to the villains.
Have my own little sewing studio, kind of like Edna Mode from the Incredibles, but only making stuff for the bad guys.
If any of them got funny, they'd get a leg full of pins!
LONG ONES!!!!

I would just be a law abiding citizen but..being English I would have to affect a sub Dick Van Dyke "cor luv a duck " or a plum mouthed toffs accent..not sure if the locals could cope with my Black Country brogue .

Bonnie the secretary in Commissioner Gordon's office had a cushy job. She got to see Batman and Robin and several villains all the time in her job.

Can a Black Country brogue be any worst than a Bronx or Brooklyn accent?

Hmmmm.....I'd have to hear one for myself in order to be a good judge.
But, getting back to the thread....
Instead of designing the outfits for the crooks, I'd work for Batgirl, and try to talk her out of those itty bitty booties, and into boots that actually make sense!

I'd be the person who makes the signs that label everything...
Has the whole world gone batty!?!?

You'd work yourself to death doing that!
Not unless you had an automatic label maker writ large.

In the 1966 Batman Gotham City, I wouldn't mind being anything. Society seems so perfect except for the occasional crime. But even the villains aren't all that bad. If I had to pick, I would say Skip Parker (if that is his name) the hip surfing star- before his powers were removed by The Joker.
Conversely, I would hate to spend a minute in the nightmarish Gotham City of Tim Burton.

That version of Gotham City is really a nightmare version of New York.
I can say that, because I live here and I know just how messed up NYC is.
I'd rather live in 1966 Gotham, even if I didn't make as much money.

I'd like to be the Batcopter guy wearing the jumpsuit with the Batlogo on it. Or how about the Batchute pickup guys in the van?
