Memory is hazy, but I seem to recall a brief incident in one episode in which Alfred decides, for some reason or other, to enter the Batcave by sliding down a Batpole himself (a somewhat jarring experience for him) instead of taking the service elevator.
Can anyone identify the name of the episode in which this occurred?
(Followup question: was the "upstairs" secret entrance [in Wayne Manor] to the service elevator ever shown or specified?)
Alfred slides down a Batpole?

Re: Alfred slides down a Batpole?
Alfred came down the pole like a pro according to Robin, and as Alfred stated he alway wanted to do that but once is enough, from now on he will use the service elevator
The service elevator in the Batcave
looking at the Study layout, I think we've come to the conclusion in the past, that the entrance appears to be in that alcove to the left of the Batpole sliding wall.

Thanks! (Both of you!)

If it is on the left upstairs it should be on the right of the poles in the cave. Unless they messed up like they did with Batman's Batpole.
