I can't read the box very well but I think it says that the limited edition set comes with both Blu-ray and Ultraviolet Digital Downloads. Does anyone else see that?

Warner Archive tweeted: All episodes are uncut! All the bumpers and everything.

This was posted at blu-ray.com....I can't verify. Looking forward to this set. Was hoping that the Batgirl pilot, screen tests, 1970s PSA, etc. would have been included but this is nice:

*ALL 120 Original Broadcast Episodes Fully Remastered In HD

OVER 3 Hours Of ALL NEW Extras:

*Hanging with Batman – A true slice of life in the words of Adam West

*Holy Memorabilia Batman! – A journey into the most sought after collectables through the eyes of 3 extraordinary collectors

*Batmania Born! - Building the World of Batman – Explore the art and design behind the fiction.

*Bats of the Round Table – A candid conversation with Adam West and his celebrity friends, chatting all things Bat ’66.

*Inventing Batman in the words of Adam West (episode 1 &2) - A rare treat for the fans as Adam discusses his script notes on bringing Batman to life in the first and second episodes

*Na Na Na Batman! — Hollywood favorites stars and producers recount their favorite Batman memories

Highly Collectible Premiums:

Hot Wheels® Replica Batmobile The Adam West Scrapbook 44 Vintage Trading Cards

Wow...I'm never really disappointed in anything, but if that's all the extras then I'm disappointed. Hopefully those are only the extras newly commissioned for the set. Surely there is some vintage footage, too? They had to realize how important the Batgirl pilot is to the set??

The box set looks good. My only question is why they went with Topps' animated cards from 1966 when Topps also issued the 1966 Batman Laff series which was the card series depicting full color, live-action shots from the TV show and the '66 movie? That would have seemed more appropriate! :?

I wonder about the 'producers and actors' giving their favorite moments from Batman. Obviously this is a recent effort and will these be the same current Hollywood producers and actors who've been in overdrive ripping the Batman legacy to shreds in the last 15 years or so?

And please - NO Dan DiDio, Jim Lee, Geoff Johns, AND ESPECIALLY FRANK MILLER - gushing all over themselves about how much they loved the series when they've been clearly responsible for demolishing the icon into the depressed psychopath Frankenstein of today they're so proud of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may be that the Batgirl pilot could not be restored or did not include it due to it being in the public domain.

I would have liked those too. I don't believe those were ever reissued.

Anyone know the scale of the Batmobile? It looks like a Hot Wheels 1/64 Hollywood Edition.

Andy,
You are right, it's the 1:50 scale (short rocket tubes, curled antlers)

I realize it doesn't matter, but is it just me or are they trying to pretend in the packaging and extras that Batgirl never existed???? The Joker is on the season 3 disc case?? Seriously, that was the weakest Joker season by far.

I know it doesn't matter, but it seems quite evident to me they are soft-pedaling Batgirl/Yvonne because they know how many people dislike season 3.

I'll be honest, that may be the lamest set of extras I have ever seen on a series to get this kind of big treatment, *if* that represents the whole thing. "Man From UNCLE", "Get Smart" and even "Six Million Dollar Man" had better extras than that when they were released. With all due respect to those who are memorabilia obsessed, a featurette on searching for collectibles strikes me as a big waste of time.
