Who was Smarter, Egghead or theBookworm? ?

Post by raalongi »

I have been thinkingg about something recently, who is the smartest arch Villain Batman & Robin ever faced. I have narrowed it down to two. The Bookworm or Egghead??

In the first Egghead eppisode Batman stated he was one of the smartest criminals they ever faced.

In the Bookworm ep, it was clearly stated the Bookworm was a very intelligent guy.

Who do you guys pick. I vote for Egghead; I believe he was much wiser than any other villain. He almost deduced Batman's true identity!!!

I'd go with Bookworm. He blew through the Secret of Self-Control book in less than a minute. Plus, his ruse about assassinating Gordon freaked out Bruce and Dick (O'Hara is too dumb to consider), and probably many of the kids in the audience the first time it was shown.

Egghead has the raw I.Q., while Bookworm is much more literate.

If it weren't for his issues with being a failed author, he'd be one of the MOST dangerous villains in the batch.

As it is, I'd rate him at #4, with Catwoman being #1, Riddler being #2, and the Joker and Penguin sharing the #3 spot.

First off, hello again to all - I have missed 'talking' to you all

Egghead's whole schtick was his brains, so I would give him the edge
Both he and Bookworm had severe flaws in their leadership abilities, but I see Bookworm as well-read and Egghead as the natural genius

Agreed. Egghead has a greater capability of understanding any discipline or situation, which means he can plot crimes from any angle, but if you remove the book plots as a source for Bookworm's crimes, he's no too functional, and certainly no match for Batman and Robin.

No contest, Egghead. He wins simply for the fact that he could think up original plans and plots, as where Bookworm could only use the works of others for his own purposes. Case closed.

Well, don't stand with egg on your face!
I find you to be odious, abhorrent and insegrevious.

My vote goes to Bookworm as he could read a huge phone book in seconds flat!

Now, the only question is WHY???

Aside from looking up a particular person or address, a phone book is pretty dry reading.
