I have never seen this photo before either. I LOVE seeing lost gems like these photos. I always wonder how many are still out there?

I believe I've seen the last one, but not the two above it. Thanks, antman67

That latest photo, is it from the filming of the first King Tut episode in the park?
What are they holding in their hands? At first glance it looks like a script, but there is a picture of Batman on the back, is it a batch of photos they are looking through?
Wouldn't it be cool if 20th Century Fox had in their vaults all the photos (or original negatives) that were taken? What are they chances that they exist or were archived into the bin.

Wow isn't Lee Meriwether beautiful.antman67 wrote:I have never seen this photo before either. I LOVE seeing lost gems like these photos. I always wonder how many are still out there?
Thanks for sharing these photo's. Seeing the actors expressions and body language really gives me the feeling of seeing the characters I love unmasked to reveal the true face of the actors underneath. Great work.

I really like the photo of Lee and Adam in character. Does anyone know what was the occasion?antman67 wrote:I have never seen this photo before either. I LOVE seeing lost gems like these photos. I always wonder how many are still out there?

I'm pretty sure it was the premiere of the movie in Austin, Texas. There's a movie poster in the background, and I know they were in costume for appearances, interviews, etc. that weekend.dell wrote:I really like the photo of Lee and Adam in character. Holy motherlode!
If you search the 'Getty Images' site - under 'Editorial/Archival' - there's page-after-page of amazing on-set shots.
For instance, 'Batman 1966' yields 16 pages, most from the ABC photo archives. I'm guessing many haven't been seen since being taken.
To the internets!

Wow, some great stuff I've never seen before. What the heck is up with that first pic you posted?? Adam's not wearing his satin briefs, just his leotard! Why would he be wearing everything EXCEPT his briefs? How odd!
