True, they were doing their best, but...

I believe, (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong here), that car was also in Bewitched?

Just finished going through over 1400 images listed under "Batman 1966" - wow. Some amazing shots there - hope they have more to add.

Just for the heck of it I tried "Batman 1965" and found a batch of images dated November 19, 1965 of Bob Kane, and a couple color shots of what seems to be an early concept for Catwoman's outfit:

I think I like the final version better...

Bob Kane thought of himself as a ladies man, having a 'Hugh Hefner/Bruce Wayne' self-image. So he would often hire a girl or have his latest girlfriend pose in costume to do paintings of the comics characters. They had nothing to do with the TV series (except, of course, using the attention generated by the show to sell his paintings and have them displayed in shows and galleries). This is one of those, using Catwoman's costume in the comics from the 50's/early 60's (they changed it in the comics after the show started to a sort of green version of the TV Catwoman costume). I prefer the classic purple and green costume to the TV catsuit and would not have minded the one pictured being on the show -it just seems way more classy and stylish.

I'm NOT sure if the Batgirl photo is Yvonne or not? It LOOKS like it is though?

Not Yvonne. Even the Getty gets it wrong from time to time.

I would have bet good money on it too, but Scott would know better than us and he says it is not Yvonne.
