50th Anniversary Celebrations
With the 50th anniversary of the show coming up next year I thought it a good time to ask this. Obviously, with so many of the shows stars long since died many won't be able to but will there be any events in the UK? If so would Adam or Burt be a part of them? I realise, particularly in Adams case, age is a barrier to travelling to the UK normally but it would be brilliant to have them over here even only for a short time. As a UK bat fan who isn't able to travel state side when they are at conventions I just thought id ask this.

same here i would definitely like to meet Adam and Burt if they came to the UK

Re: 50th Anniversary Celebrations
It would be amazing if a UK based convention managed to organise a Batman 50th event.
I really want to meet Yvonne Craig. But it would be a real victory for the UK to get multiple headline stars like Adam, Burt, Julie, Lee & Yvonne at one event.
Fingers crossed. But I think it might be more realistic to save up and do a convention In the USA.

Re: 50th Anniversary Celebrations
It's over ten years since Adam was last an event in the UK and perhaps even longer for Burt. I accepted quite a while ago that going to these guys was most certainly worth it to me, rather than waiting for something in the UK that seems less and less likely with each year that passes.
Never say never, but regardless of age/health I had a conversation with Burt where he has said that he has never really enjoyed long distant flying.
All of this being said, I would love to organise a fan get together here in the UK, it's always fun to meet board members from around the world.
