Great early Batman cover-- I love how simple this one and the #4 are. Plus, hey it's a Batman #2.

Summer issue, huh? What Andy? No plans of going into your treehouse with bubble gum and an ice cream cone and flipping through the pages?

Picked up this new windshield sun visor the other day. Thought it was a real hoot.

Just got the Batman Viewmaster slide set
The Purr-fect Crime.
It always seemed strange to me that they only did one set from the TV series
(i'm not saying they should have done every arc but they should have at least done a few more episode sets for each of the major villains)

This hand drawn, fan art was created by a barely 5 year old Bluth Wayne and recently found while cleaning up the house for the holidays.
Once I have this framed and matted, it will be available for private auction. Reserve bid is $15,000.00.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Andy,
That looks like a very nice copy of Batman #2. Congratulations on that pick-up.
Yellow Oval,
I've been admiring that sunshade and haven't pulled the trigger on picking it up. How is the image quality? Are you going to use it or keep it as a collectable.
Golddragon,
Love the look at your bookshelf with the figures and congrats on the view master reels. They stayed in print a while. I got mine in 1977. I really enjoyed them, but at the time would rather have had Riddler or Joker as the villain. Needless to say that was before I liked girls, or I would have wanted Catwoman.
A few web finds of my recent purchases.
A Burnside Batgirl figure. That replacement head floating around the box all disembodied does come across as a little creepy. I still hate the lace-up boots, too.
This is a Play Arts Arkham Knight Batgirl figure. I don't play video games, but I still have a hard time resisting Batgirl. I hate the rear view of her cape from the online videos, but mine will never leave the box, so I guess that is ok. I got her A LOT off what she usually goes for or I wouldn't have picked her up. Finally, I bought several magnets. Here are the ones that were TV show related, although I got a couple of comic books ones, too.
