Re: Merry Christmas to all
Sadly, no pics of my Batman merchandise of the late 60s, but our tree was the same, Riddler 66! Ours was green tinsel - we used to always have a live tree - and my grandfather had to make a replacement trunk out of a broomstick (my grandmother got a bargain price on the tree!), then we put it out on the front verandah for Santa to collect. On Christmas Eve, he brought back the painted stick and even stayed long enough to erect and decorate the tree!
Note the starched, hand-crocheted angel on the top, with a pearlized button for a head.
1968:

This was also the year we got a 10"(?) Batman figure (not accurate to the TV show, but movable arms?) and a 4" Robin figure (non-articulated, with a rubbery cape). The scales didn't match but we didn't really care. We loved them! (My little brother got 8" Megos in 1973.)
1969:

My Mum had just progressed to colour film here. Note that one had to be very sparing with a roll of twelve shots on a 126 film (and four flashes per flashcube). We all suspected that Brian had turned his head for the first shot and, of course, Keith (left) and I (right) were checking on him in the second shot.

"Holy nostalgia, Batman!"
