A stunning and talented beauty. Happy she lived life to the fullest, but sad to see her go.
Rest in peace, Ms. York, and thank you for all the entertainment.

Wow, that's sad to hear. She was certainly among the hottest of the molls, and maybe the only true 60's "bomb-shell" in the group. It's nice that she really seemed to enjoy her Batman fandom. She did some incredibly odd parts over the years. Including playing Marilyn Monroe, locked away in a sanitarium in an obscure 80's horror film! And she's getting a ton of death notices on google. Most have her age at 80. But shoot, a lady doesn't have to tell. Her hair color changed to fit whatever role she played, but I thought she always looked best as a Miss Limpid brunette. Whatever color, she was always lovely.
Next week, the Dynamic Duo meets the Clock King!

Here's a link that has a few nice photos. She was great on Lost in Space as well. Very friendly and very sweet in person when we met her at one of the Hollywood shows.

From the 1954 Aurora, MN High School Northern Lights yearbook (not 1956 - like many actors she shaved a couple years off) when she was Francine Yerich:
Winner in the Declamation contest:
Senior play, Room for One More (far right):
And finally, the tallest majorette:
Wonder if she studied English History? R.I.P., Francine."To the medical eye, such childish claptrap means only one thing, young man: You need some sleep."
