Thanks for posting that!
Although always a fan of the show when it was on originally, it was Adams' take on the character that made me a HUGE fan of Batman in general.
Not to mention the guy is a hero himself for his part in the Siegel/ Schuster rights issue.

Happy Birthday!
I feel the same way about both Batmen. I loved the colors of Superman's costume and all the cool things he could do, but between Adam West on TV and Neal's hyper-realistic drawings in the comics, Batman was the hero who seemed REAL to me growing up.

Mr. Adams' Batman is my favorite from the comic books.

That's really great. I think some of us here on the board might be a little jealous of that present. Thanks for sharing, and happy B'day my friend!

Re: NEAL ADAMS & ADAM WEST: A Tale of Two Batmen
Sorry to post on this thread so late, but thanks for sharing this. I got hooked on Batman by watching reruns of the show around 1976 or so, so I missed both the original Batmania and Neal Adams's original take on the character. I first encountered Neal Adams's Batman in either the Stacked Cards book & record set, which had no credits, or in the treasury reprinting the Ra's Al Ghul saga. Since then, he has been one of my favorite Batman artists.
