That was still born. The claim was not enough interest to make it at the price point they were targeting. The largest scale currently available is 1/12 under license. This car would be about a meter long. The price was about $800 to $1200 range iirc.
If you can find anything new about it, we are all listening.
It is listed as being at SDCC this year.
I'll try and get over to the Sideshow booth next week. I'm on the floor Tuesday before everything is open so it should be a good chance to see and talk to people about products.
Maybe they realized we were willing to pay 800 for a 1/50 scale Batcave that we’d pay through the nose on the 1/6 Batmobile too. I hope it really is coming out. I don’t care about more figures (unless they were Penguin and Joker) but I would love to have this Batmobile for my Batman and Robin.
Limited edition of 250?
License Plate knocks off $100
Saving my sideshow points. I saw it on their website as SDCC release, but it looked like a summary of the past few years. https://www.sideshowtoy.com/whats-new/coming-soon/
it's in the right corner at the very bottom of the page.
It leads to no 1966 goodness, just a rehash of the Batman characters and their status. (or plural of status - stati? English majors respond please)

I just noticed that the 1966 1:6 scale bat mobile was still listed. Is this happening or not? What about the Cesar Romero Joker figure?
Kimberly
Hi there, Andy! I am sorry, I do not have any additional information at this time about the release of that item. I can only see what is on the site at this time.
Andy Garringer
That's sad. it shouldn't be on the page if it's not "coming soon". Is there anyone I can contact to find out for sure?
Kimberly
At this time, all the available information we have from Hot Toys on the item is on the site
This is one of those cases where I hope it's released just for the sake of being able to say it exists, and for the people who could actually afford to buy one. But for me, it's a moot point, as I don't have a "spare" rent payment lying around
I think someone is working on an accurate and affordable 1:6 version here in the good Ol’ US of A. And, not just a “One Off” for a wealthy Executive of a company!
