FIRST LOOK: Mike Allred’s ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 #4 Cover

Post by Dan Greenfield »

Hey, Batfolks!

ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 #4 is out in October and just like last month, we're revealing all the covers exclusively at 13th Dimension -- one a day, from now through Monday.

First up is Mike Allred's latest, which you can see here:

I think you'll dig it.

So when does Batman meet Snoopy, or Beetle Bailey, or Little Lulu and Tubby? Strictly my opinion, but this concept is just more proof DC is out of ideas and should just close its doors.

Shhhhhhhhh!! Don't give them any ideas.

Then again, Lucy probably would be a more formidable villain than most of the season 3 foes.

To be fair, I actually enjoyed the '66 Batman/Man From UNCLE crossover, but didn't read the Batman/Avengers (Steed and Peel) one. But at least those seemed more organic because they also featured 1960s crimefighting characters. Batman and Archie is like mashed potatoes with chocolate syrup.
