Thanks for this post. I tracked the book down a few weeks ago and it arrived by post yesterday. I was not prepared for how gigantic it is. I have the original edition (currently in storage) and am now curious how much is altered. The pics seem to be greatly enlarged (and sometimes distorted). In a few places, additions to the main text seem to be in a slightly bolder font.

Drat. I noticed yesterday that this copy is missing pages 197/198. The page has been roughly torn out by its previous owner!

I sent in a complaint to Amazon and the second hand seller immediately refunded my money and postage, with no need to return the damaged book. Any chance someone out there could send me a scan of the missing page, please?

Meanwhile, I picked up this supposedly-authenticated autograph card by Ida Lupino (Dr Cassandra):

Where did you find this set of Underoos? I looked online for them and couldn't find it online.

I ordered them from a Seller on Ebay. I am sad to report that the item I received did not match the auction's photo. The packaging I received only showed a comic book representation of Batman. The shirt did have the Adam West style Batman chest emblem, but the shirt was just a heather-grey color, not the blue/grey that was shown in the auction photo, nor did it have the dark blue trim at the neck. I am returning them, since I did not receive what was pictured in the auction. Now I am having trouble locating them anywhere else. So if anyone has a lead on these, please let me know.

I'm sorry it didn't show up as listed. That sucks. I was doing some digging, and could only find the comic packaging.

Oh, look what turned up last night. Just sitting down to absorb it!

Later:
A fun start and lots of Bat villains but over twelve pages of advertising at the back, so it’s a short read.

Books hit my LZ today and caused a reset of the Bat Motor Pool.

Nice photos. How are the Batmobile and Batcave books? Would you recommend them? I’m thinking of picking them up if I find a good deal.
