"Batman told him a super funny joke. When the creature didn't laugh, that was proof!"
Re: FTC pocket heroes!!!
Well, for starters I hope they look nothing like the Mego Pocket Heroes. The 8-inch line had a certain quirky charm but the little ones were just hideous.

Rare occasion where we disagree, the comic action heroes had some hideous ones; Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider Man but it had some great ones too; Robin, Shazam, Superman, Hulk, Captain America, despite the strange positioning of the hands and the bent legs. It also had the best play set in the exploding bridge set.
My money is on they’ll do exact duplicates and some new molds too.

Oh and their Batropes were cool although they were molded into that shape. Gotta love the big Batarang on them! And I remember these with straight legs too. Not sure when that happened in the line. Life started happening about that time.

Re: FTC pocket heroes!!!
I always hated the pocket heroes. Just so ugly, but the exploding bridge was a lot of fun. I wonder if the Funko Batmobile would fit on it if it were re-released? I would for sure buy the bridge set if it were compatible to Funko Batmobile, and if FTC put it out, and I’m sure they will. It was the most memorable piece in the entire line.

Ha! Forgot Robin wore a "wife beater"!
I also forgot they came with that bizarre yellow block thingy (rock? Hay bale?) Presumably to help them stand up despite the "relieving himself in the woods" leg pose.
I found one of those yellow things in a junk box recently and couldn't for the life of me remember where it came from, so thanks for the pic. Interesting how younger Me apparently thought it was the only part worth saving.

My kid brother had a few of these and I saw them as really wrong from the get-go. Yes, Robin did need green sleeves, and yes, the legs were badly designed, but do I really have to say (and I'm not going to) what was WRONG with these things? Did they not have to pass some sort of commercial toy censor or something?
"Hmmm... I don't like the twist this joke is taking. Let us away! Let us away!"

They definitely deserve a spot next to the infamous Batman squirt gun in the "What Were They Thinking?" Hall of Shame.

No sleeves was not the first thing about this figure that shocked me.
