You have to add Renato's Bat Bad girls to your book collection.

That’s a great means of displaying your Bat-Literature! I’ve often puzzled over how best to that, but had resorted to storing them away from daylight in a plastic crate.

My second purchase from the Bradford Exchange that I'm pleased with. Too bad they are hit or miss when it comes to Batman merchandise.
The quality of this item is surprisingly good considering it's sold by the Bradford Exchange. My only disappointment in it comes from the Batmobile's windshield being painted silver instead of clear glass. Also, the tv show theme song is not the one from the show's introduction, but some other recording. The fact that it starts off with bodacious bass trombones makes up for that though.

Happy with mine.AndyFish wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 6:02 am I had the Batusi statue but was turned off by the really poor paint job mine had. If I had the time I would have given it a repaint but it wouldn't help that the hands didn't fall into the right place either-- in the box photo his fingers are over his eyes but the one I had they were way off the head.
If you got a good one you should be very happy. It's a great concept.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Keith,
I got that Tales of the Dark Knight book back in 89 and it is a good read for the most part. It was the first time I ever saw the cover to Batman 227, even though I had read the story in Batman's Strangest Cases. As you can probably tell, I really love that cover and story. My only complaint with the book at the time was that one of the color cover sections was entirely devoted to the 1980s, when the book was published. I already had all the comics featured there. Only three covers from the 1970s were in the color section....and none by Jim Aparo or Marshall Rogers.
