Hot Toys makes a lot of prototypes they never actually sell like yellow jacket, cyborg, The Flash. I think Shuri will fall into that category. A Yvonne Craig Batgirl would sell very well. Hot toys has poor marketing. They sell a lot to China and Japan but lots of people in the US never heard of them.

Do they show 1966 Batman reruns in China? That would create a huge demand.

Marc,
My guess is no. But, keep the Faith, as I believe some great Entrepreneur will rise to the occasion!

Best thing we can all do is drop them an email to let them know we are still waiting and ready to order.

DONE! Good idea, we’ll see if they care about having a reputation of producing products, and not just “Hype”.

Glad to see the positive reaction. Wish my comments regarding Funko's wave 2 of 3.75 figures did too.

I was 60 in 2014, my daughters wanted to buy me the 66 Batmobile. That day is long gone, I got the money instead, not the memorable item I wanted.

Folks, a gentle reminder that in keeping with our board and merchandise rules to chill on the reviews or critiques about Hot Toys themselves. Critique the products themselves but refrain on things like"why do they make prototypes they don't end up releasing", "they should listen to the fanbase" or "Their marketing stinks" sort of stuff. This goes for any vendor or manufacturer.

Hey Earthdog...thanks for leaving that link! I sent them a polite reminder that we’re ready a waiting, they did follow up with a short “Thank you for your Interest” message. Well, at least they responded....that’s good news.

Now that the 1966 Batmobile is going to be in the new Martin Scorcese Joker movie, maybe this will spur Hot Toys to release it.

Perhaps this will be a grittier version of the Adam West Batman. Speculation is this is an elseworlds where Thomas Wayne survived and became Batman.

See video of the '66 on the Joker set:
