I just asked my local Aussie comic shop to add this title to my standing order. Issues #1 and 2 are already out, but sold out. When they tried to order more from the supplier, they were sold out, too.

Today I went prowling eBay and secured those wayward issues. From issue #3, they will go into my pull-box.

Someone said this was an attempt contrasting the light world of Adam West's Batman and the dark world of the Dark Knight version, but than I thought didn't Mad Magazine do a two page parody of that several years ago. Mad Magazine did a pretty good (though short) job.

I am still of the opinion that TDKR is Batman '66 20 years later.

Downloaded. Will review after reading. Looks good.

Just got the first issue. Loved the sixties setup and characters. Can't say I liked the shift of town when things turned dark and gritty. Didn't expect the corrupt cops at the end.

Hope there are brighter moments ahead.
