Bat-Doodles

Post by mwilbury »

I was archiving images from my phone today and realized I've built a stash of on-topic images that I'm not likely to share anywhere else. Just for giggles, I'll foist them on the forum.

I often amuse my kids by drawing on menus, and we do arts and crafts together. I sneak '66 Batman in often, and my son is becoming quite the fan.

Some of the absurd results:

My son loved a mind-numbing cartoon from South Korea called Tayo The Little Bus, so I drew the Batmobile in the same style...

Heaven knows what made me draw our cat wearing the cowl...

Not related to the above (seriously), my daughter drew this one for me as a gift!

One more from a restaurant in Charleston... I was teasing my daughter about her vegetables. The owners thought it was funny, so it ended up on the wall.

It’s been four years but my wife actually remembered. It was Harvest Moon Lowcountry Grille.

The first couple remind me of Quentin Blake or other classic illustrators. Cool stuff.

Oh yeah, out on Savannah Hwy near Ravenel. Excellent food. Haven’t been there in ages, but may have to go for lunch this week.

The smiling Batmobile pic looks like a toy just dying to be made.

Macaroni & Cheese, potato salad, and French Fries? Hey, if Batman says so - good enough for me.
8-)

Man, the sidewalk chalk and a few others are well beyond just doodles. Fantastic work. Plus, Batbelfry is right; the smiling Batmobile is perfect for a Cars character. Best of the bunch.

-edit-
Scratch that. Looking at it again, it’s better that the Cars characters.

I like to Batdoodle the 66 Batmobile all the time at work. I so wish I could afford one.
