I picked the Eaglemoss Batmobile from Filmation's 1968 series, The Batman/Superman Hour because its not only one if my favorites, but has the distinction of being the least produced Batmobile from a TV series or film--

On the Eaglemoss site its still listed as out of stock, but at least it has an option to be notified which means its not out production.

If only they would make a 1:18 scale of that car...

Found it! The dark blue metallic version of the Animated Series Batmobile. It was a totally weird stroke of luck. I PM with Blue Meanie and he gets way more Batmobile Hot Wheels in his part of the country than I do out here in the Texas hill country. He also has the 2019s in stores already, where I’ve yet to see any at any of the stores I’ve been checking.

I drove into town to a Target Friday to get a book and checked the toy section again, as I have several times this year. Still no 2019s and an ever shrinking selection of the same 2018s. I was walking away from the Hot Wheels aisle and happened to look down at the big sets on the low shelf below the cars. There it was, laying on top of a box of track, like someone had changed their mind and not bothered to hang it back up.

I swooped in on it and left as a happy inner10-year-old. I’m on vacation this week, but it will be on my desk at the office first thing next week. In fact, it’s already in my briefcase, ready to go.

Internet photo, not my actual. I’ll get a picture when it’s parked with my others.

Congrats on finding TAS Batmobile. It’s one of my favorites, behind the ‘66 & ‘89 Batmobiles. Hang in there as the ‘19’s will show up eventually. If your Target is getting low, then they are probably going to re-stocking those peg soon.....very soon, what with Christmas coming. The Batmobile you found was in the Q case, so the next one to hit should be your 2019 A cases.

Also, as you’re a fan of TAS Batmobile, HW did a 1:50 scale and it is quite nice with more detail. It’s part of their Retro Entertainment Line.

Happy Thanksgiving.

That 1:50 scale looks awesome! I’ll be on the lookout for the 2019s, as well as anything off your list. I have a nerd buddy who has connections. I’ll see if he can come up with some too.

What does Hot Wheels have for a 1940’s Vehicle to create a 1/64 Batmobile? I think the oldest version is the 1966 version

Hot Wheels did release a 1940s Batmobile in 1:50 scale several years ago. Nothing in the 1:64 scale, unfortunately. Not sure if these could be customized into a ‘4o’s Batmobile.

You might be able to use the front “bat” on the hood and the fin for your custom job from this Batmobile.

If you make, please share pictures with us. Would love to see the finished product.

Really nice Keith! I love Corgi’s and I’ve been meaning to start picking up their Batmobile Decade series. I have the 1940’s model, so I’ve started, albeit slowly. I also really like the Eaglemoss cars, but stopped collecting after I got all the ‘66 models as I didn’t know what to collect next. I think I found the answer....Golden Age Batman. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

In February 2019, Corgi is set to rerelease one of their most beloved diecasts from the 1960’s.

Actually, there is a 1/64 Batmobile kit line from Johnny Lightning. They have comic book based vehicles, pre-painted, just require assembly
