Mr Freeze helmet up for auction
Just noticed the Mr Freeze helmet is up for sale over at icollector
Here's the description:
1140. Batman Mr. Freeze helmet from classic 1960 TV series. (TCF-TV, 1966-68) Vintage original screen used helmet constructed of cast fiberglass shell with rivet details, an accordion neck portion, short aluminum peaked breastplate and working hinged flip-visor with a transparent see-through bubble visor, now amber from age. The helmet surfaces are expertly painted in metallic silver. Interior lined with carved soft foam for fit and comfort of wearer. From the mod and madcap 1960s Batman TV series, this "Mr. Freeze" helmet was worn in the episode: "Instant Freeze" starring George Sanders as "Mr. Freeze" in the first appearance of that character in the series. In the plotline, 6-Mr. Freezes appear simultaneously, so the specific wearer is unknown. Exhibiting scuffing to silver paint, scratching to bubble dome of visor, interior foam padding is supple and intact. In production-used vintage good to very good condition. $3,000 - $5,000

A "signature costume" doesn't mean it is signed by the actor. It is his iconic costume.

My mistake... I read 'signature' and in my mind I must've translated that into 'signed'

6K for the helmet and 30K (+fees) for the costume, WOW

It states in the description that the wearer is unknown. It may have been worn by Mr. Freeze or one of the six impersonators.

Definitely not the same helmet seen worn by Sanders in the B&W photo. Notice the large rivet just between and below the visor hinge in the B&W photo. That rivet does not appear on this helmet.
