Szabol,

Great find. I have an original 1st issue Corgi Batmobile, Batboat, and trailer. I also have boxes for them but they are repros. My Batmobile is in great shape except the wheel springs are shot so it has no suspension and rides real low. I'm undecided whether to repair it or leave it in original condition.

Did the Corgi Junior come with a Robin? I don’t know if I’ve seen one.

The early Corgi Jr, and Husky Extra had both Batman and Robin. The later editions only had Batman (1976 for sure, not sure how far back it went)

Looks like they'll fit in the Hotwheels Batmobile:

Szabol,

I had no idea the figures for the Corgi Jr.s would fit in the small Hot Wheels scale. This is very interesting.

Szabol,

Thanks for the info. It also appears that later issues with just Batman didn’t bother to paint him and is an all black figure.

Just picked this up. A carded Corgi Jr.

It looks like all the Corgi Jr Batmobiles marked 1976 has a red interior and just Batman. The 60’s stuff have both figures

Here’s a 60’s Jr

Even the tow hook is different. Also the 3 pipes behind the rear glass are not red plastic. And it does have Batman and Robin, Painted

i'll stand at the bar i shouldn't wish to attract attention !
