Interesting. I wonder if he will have any scenes with the Batwoman character.

This is great news. I would have liked to have seen Burt on Gotham but this will do.

Good for Burt!
Brandon Routh returning as Superman and also maintaining his role as the Atom in the CW-verse? Interessssting.

Thanks for the heads-up. The only one of the CW shows I watch is the Flash, but I guess I will have to watch them all to see Burt (and to know what is going on).

I agree. Honestly, I didn’t mind Routh as Superman. I actually look forward to seeing how this goes.

Ditto, on Routh. I kind of look at that movie the way I look at the third season of the Batman show, I like Adam and Burt as those characters, just not necessarily how those episodes were written/executed.Batman65 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 5:28 pmBen Bentley wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 4:45 am Good for Burt!

It now has been announced that Lynda Carter and Tom Welling also will be reprising their roles as Wonder Woman and Superman.

The only part of the Arrowverse I've ever watched is the Flash-Supergirl musical episode, but this is sounding like something very much worth checking into. I wonder if they have plans for some of the other actors who, like Lynda, are already a part of this universe, like John Wesley Shipp, Helen Slater and Dean Cain. Shipp, I believe, already has reprised his role as the Flash he played in the 1990 series.

According to this site, Ward will be playing Robin, and they will acknowledge that Batman has passed. Lynda Carter is also playing Wonder Woman!
It makes sense if true; all these tv shows are "canon", just on different Earths.
But the part about Burt has me very excited. It could be our first look at the Batman tv series universe since 1968! My mind is already wondering whether they'll recreate at least part of the Batcave set and feature the Batmobile?! And a shame Adam isn't still around, surely he'd have been part of it. I feel they'd have included Christopher Reeve, too. Though in a way, the appearance of Routh counts as the "Donnerverse" Supes.

Seems like they're trying to assemble all of the previous live action actors to reprise their parts. It'll be interesting to see how they use Burt-- I can't imagine they'll put him in a Robin costume, maybe Police Commissioner?
I don't watch any of these shows but I admire them going to the lengths their going to pull this all off.
