This is a nice tease (I don’t recall seeing the photo before), but I’d like to see full coverage of the premiere. The article states it’s a premiere for the TV show but of course it was for the movie.

Here is some silent footage from that day.



I'm sitting in my office typing this, about four blocks away from The Paramount. It is largely unchanged from back then except for having been restored on the outside. A big part of the original sign was missing when Batman premiered there. All of the buildings in the footage - Joseph's, Hardy, etc - are still there, but not as those businesses. They're the block before The Paramount.
