I agree on the costume. That statue, the Burnside years as created and drawn by Babs Tarr, is clearly inspired by the TV show Batgirl. I was an instant fan of it. I’m about a year behind and didn’t realize they’d changed her outfit. Too bad. I think Tarr’s version is much better.gothosmansion wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 1:56 pm Diamond Select Batgirl statue. Not necessarily that big a fan of the outfit (much better than the one she's wearing now, though) but it is a good action pose and looks better in hand. I just can't seem to resist any statue of Batgirl, though.

For me, Batgirl just isn't Batgirl without a cowl.TP-6597 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 9:14 pm

Picked up this week: "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" movie soundtrack CD. Final track is the Radio "KHJ Batman Promotion" from the end credits, featuring the voices of Adam West (Batman) and Burt Ward (Robin), plus the "Batman '66" theme music.

There was, if I remember correctly, a warehouse find of these in Hong Kong a few years ago, so there are quite a few nice examples out there. Yours looks legit to me and could easily be old store stock.batrunner1966 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 10:23 pm Hi guys, I just recieved this as a gift, a d it is pretty nice. ^Good find.
I always thought the Batboat's black paintjob was cool and sensible, since the Batmobile is black. Not screen accurate, but Corgi's choice was a good one.
