Yeah, but it still looks like a Funko Pop, so no thanks.

I wish they'd use that vinyl to make realistic looking 66 Batman items as they did with the 3.75" line. Those things all look alike and to me appear to be little children in Halloween costumes. Not my thing but they're "pop"ular I'll give them that.

It's very possible that some were bought up by vendors who will now inflate the price to scalp collectors...happens all the time.

Guess I'm in the minority here as I've collected the '66 Batman Pops line up. I won't be getting this big ol' honkin' one though. I'm happy they got the colors right this time, but I'm disappointed on how they changed the utility belt. The original looks more like what Adam wore. This new one looks out of place.

Just to clarify-- no slight to anyone who does like them-- they have a charm. I have a Twinkie the Kid and a Frankenberry in my kitchen that someone gave us years ago-- and they make me smile when I see them. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan "Thou shalt never speak ill of a fellow Bat fan."

I may be in the minority but I think the square head & round dot eyes Funko keeps saturating the collectors marketplace with has reached the BEYOND saturation point. They have to come up with new product designs rather than acquiring more licensees.

I suppose there's a "cute factor" with little "babyfied" superheroes, Darth Vader and other characters defined by masks, but unmasked Funko figures all look identical. This "James Bond" is Sean Connery and that one is Daniel Craig? Sure, whatever you say. (At least "Roger" has a mole). "Oddjob" has the mandatory Funko round eyes and the same body type as everyone else, but hello: If he's not fat and he's not Asian, he's NOT ODDJOB.

Which is to say, I don't get it. But if you're into figures that all look alike, but not like the character named on the box, I guess they're cool. Lord knows I've got a ton of stuff other folks think is just as nuts, if not more so.

I was a lot more hopeful for the "Vinylz" line they based on the awesome designs from Evil Toy Company. But that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I have two as well I bought way back at the beginning - a Batman and Joker. After that I got fed up as any comic store I walked into, and even the comic-cons, all started pushing a gazillion of these identical figures. I understand and accept that there are fans of the line, but I just can't get into all these little balloon-head, bug-eyed figures that look more like they're having trouble breaking wind while the pressure builds and backs up.
