New to the site, wanted to introduce myself.. My name is Brandon. So, as of this writing, there are no leads on the release of the music in the actual tv show? I haven't even been able to find any decent recordings of the cues or themes on YouTube either. At one time I had "Race to Police Headquarters" in decent quality and a couple recordings of a few villan themes but have lost them all. The only decent release I've come across is the movie album, which featured a few cues from the tv series, but all those other releases, claiming to be the music from the tv show, were all misleading, or remakes, or had voice overs on top of the tracks.

I was roaming around some old files of mine and found this. John, you remember when I had this site up and running?

Well, rummaging around these old files, and having some free time right now (don't we all), I've gotten the bug and begun resurrecting my Bat Music site. It's gonna take some work, as I have to drag many of the files out of the Wayback machine and restore as much as I can from the code. The images are a whole other headache! I'm getting there though, slowly.

Here's a sneak-peek at the new front-end. I wanted to make it reminiscent of the original site but with modern workings.

Looks cool! What platform are you building it on this time around?

Um, the Lee platform? I build these things from the ground up, I don't use a CMS on my personal stuff usually. At some point I probably will, but not today. I plan on getting an actual database behind it in the near future, but the initial launch will still be mostly static.

For TO THE BATPOLES podcast, we're planning to have Jeff Bond on the show to talk about the '66 movie soundtrack. I knew he had written liner notes for the CD, but I ended up buying the wrong one -- the Lala Land version with John Takis' liner notes. Would anyone be able to send a scan of his notes?

I have the original Film Score Monthly booklet and liner notes, but I'm away from home until Saturday. I'll be happy to scan the booklet for you when I get home, if no one else can before then.

Indeed!
Now I'm preparing for the show. We're planning to talk to Jeff Bond this Friday morning US time. Any questions about the '66 movie score you'd like us to ask him?

Good evening everyone, just wondering if there's any updates to finding or sharing the themes from the 60s TV show? The villain themes are one of my Holy Grail list
