I finally got a tire cover for the Bat Jeep. I had been hedging for a long time, but I am happy with my choice.
I can't even imagine how cool that would be seeing this if I was driving behind you!

Love it Jimmy!
Curious...What was some of your other ideas that had you debating?
I had a few ideas that were briefly discussed in this thread, a little while ago- viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6189&p=60129&hilit=bat+jeep#p60129
I was leaning towards the signal Bat, but I really like how this turned out. I found a relatively inexpensive on so I might do another.
Lou-
I proudly display the decals from Mark over at Fiberglass Freaks on my doors-
You cannot really see them in wheel cover pic but I have these brake light covers-
I really dig the lights on the underside door, but I haven't been able to find a 66 Bat of any variety for those.

I also added the Penguin and Batmobile ornaments to my collection.
In addition
Detective Comics 333 from November 1964
Batman : The Golden Age Omnibus Volume 8 (I order this Sept. 15, but it just arrived this week.) The cover image is from the Joker's Utility Belt, which, of course, was adapted into the TV episodes Joker is Wild/Batman is Riled.
Man I’m on the fence for that omnibus #8- have all the other ones and have yet to read even one. Plan is to have time someday, but these aren’t cheap. Having that Sprang cover is a selling point for me.
I think they are great fun. I haven't read Volume 8 yet, but I recommend getting them while you can. Unfortunately, they are getting more expensive and thinner. I'm sure my Batman collection doesn't go back as far as yours, so there are always stories in the omnibuses that I've never read.
I admit that all the "new" comics I buy are reprints of old stuff. My purchases with that omnibus where Aquaman : Deadly Waters (Jim Aparo art) and Tomb of Dracula volume 4. That is what I started reading first, but it hasn't been as much fun as the first three volumes. I think Harold H. Harold must have been TOD's answer to Scrappy Doo/Helen Crump/Shorty Kellums and he's really torpedoing my enjoyment.
About 98% of what I buy comics related is all reprints-- you talked me into this one so I just ordered it. I'll add it to the pile of stuff I'll read when I have time someday

Jimmy,
That's sweet! If you can sculpt the angry eyes into Batwings, that would be either cool, or look like eyelashes... not sure which
Same cufflinks worn by Bruce Wayne in “The Great Escape”. He uses one to signal Robin to use the Bat Answer Phone. They were made by Anson. I have both silver and gold tone but I cannot be positive which color Bruce is wearing because the set lights can wash out metallic colors.

Sometimes, it amazes me how some fans pay such close attention to details like this. Identifying cufflinks that were produced in the 60s (imagine how many styles were made between 1960 - 1967) takes real detective skills. Good work.

Picked up a hardcover copy of BATMAN VS THE 3 VILLAINS OF DOOM which was one of my favorite novels as a kid. Just reread it today and it holds up!
Interesting! I didn't know / remember they had a hardback version.
