I know right? What a talent, first to see beyond the obvious, then bring us along as Chuck transforms the each creation!

Thanks for clarifying Lou!
The base is the same size but the proportions look different because they cut it a bit shorter, just beyond the curve.
The area below the bust currently has the name "Schiller" that will be filled but the "design" is actually wrinkled gel coat and air bubbles that are all over this! There is a whopper of an air bubble on the tip of the nose!
Mine will be a bit cleaner I think but I am still leaving rasp marks in the beard like the original

Are you thinking Movie-onwards screwholes or are you going to leave it unblemished to flop around all over the place ala S1?Chuck Williams wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:41 am Thanks for clarifying Lou!

I was wondering if they had the name on the Bust, but being that old, maybe they didn’t put a name on it.Chuck Williams wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:41 am Thanks for clarifying Lou!

It IS a blast to see every morning!
The beard is taking forever because there is no attempt to make it look like hair !
Here is a side by side with a shot I took of the real deal... It's getting there!

Side by side, seems the original has a more "wide awake" eye look with larger, rounder pupils in a more open eye. Also notice the "fatter" flesh above the brows in the middle.
Love watching the progress!!!

Honestly, it's still a bit early for too much chiming in with what could become a sculpting by committee. Lol.
Paint (especially paint on this thing), lighting and angle can make this prop read all kinds of ways. Here's one of the pics I took and Chuck's is looking darn good at this stage. But being Chuck, it's going to go through that ever scrutinizing pair of eyes of his, sleepless nights, more scrutinizing and maybe a beer or two after he's tired of working on it for the day. And then... another scrutinized look.

Thanks Guys!!
Much is the difference between a matte white and a reflective finish and one is flash and one isn't.
The eyes are actually the same size but the finish makes a difference.
I have an advantage because I can see the depth of the things you point out that will pop when painted with na metallic paint.

Thanks for the updates and progress and reviving this board somewhat to those of us who have been here since the beginning!
(too many to keep track of but all great '66 Batman facebook pages out there)
Here is a clip I edited out, seems appropriate for this thread!
