There's a bat symbol on the hood? Hot Wheels has been making 1966 Batmobiles for well over a decade, so how did they get that wrong?

This was a little joke by me. I made the Parachute toy and the packaging and wanted to see if I could fool anyone. I have made the Parachute Recovery Van too but
I'm not quite finished with it.

Here are a few more photos.

Btw, tge Bat on the hood is actually on Hot Wheels. Lol I do love the red interior though.

You do great work, rsaffle--the packaging would have fooled anyone (and did!). Now that you've created this, I wonder why no '66 Batmobile manufacturer has ever added a parachute as a detachable feature? It would have been simple enough to create, considering the AHI vinyl parachute figure toys of the 70s as an example.

The parachutes look like giant clam shells. You need to put them together and have just one of Robin's feet sticking out! Holy bivalve!

Reminds me of the parachute dragsters from my childhood. The chutes were caught by the front of the car and pulled out of the track. Brilliant. Love to buy a set if you are selling....

I've been looking forward to this one ever since you mentioned working on it during one of our Video Bat-Chat sessions a little while ago. The chutes turned out great!
