I love the old Ben Cooper costumes but they really didn't try to be very accurate. LOL

Of course, one would have to assume that Joker, Riddler, etc would wear something similar?

Best you'd be able to do would be XL - it's a converted Rubie's '66 costume.

Of course the front of the costume has to have the name of the character written on. Always drove me crazy as a kid because these people don't wear nametags. But I assume they did that so that adults would know who you were dressed as.

Oh, yes. For my son’s Halloween costumes growing up, I would put together authentic costumes, like the Rocketeer, Will Robinson from LiS, Sir John Steed from the Avengers, etc., (and we would frequently accompany him in matching /complementary costumes) only to have the neighbors ask:

“And who are YOU supposed to be?”

Yep 100%--- two early teen girls showed up at my door on Halloween dressed in long black coats with sunglasses, as I handed them candy;

ME: Are you guys the Matrix?
Two girls look at each other and laugh; No. It's a TV show.
ME: Do you guys think I'm too old to know what that show is?
Luckily for me they both laughed and said "NO!" Because my wife would never let me hear the end of it if they'd said the opposite.

I totally get the names on the costumes.
