UPDATE: Scott has reminded me that he saw this 3 Cowls photo as part of a contact sheet in Adam's collection. It was a single shot in with photos from the King Tut episode in the same time period. So there you have it! I didn't see a conclusive shot of Hubie in the cowl on the right in the box scanning through the episode but knowing he did wear it as a stunt cowl at that time solved my conundrum! Thanks Scott!! It takes a village!

I think I may have found the day or sequence that the famous "Three Cowls" photo was taken.

The fight aboard Archers get-a-way ship.

Adam arrives in one cowl (the one in the hands of the costumer) and in the next shot is in the second cowl (left side of box) and the third (right side of box) is Hubie wearing Adam's old hero cowl!
BTW, it seams Hubie wore this cowl for quite a while in the second season. The extended ear paint caught my attention.

Talk about thinking outside of the box! Great detective work finding the episode that all three were used in. I put this together a couple years back just matching the cowls with screen grabs

I remember this image well AP!! I was thinking about contacting you to ask permission to use it in the post! LOL!

I was stumped by the time frame because of the cowl at the front right. When I saw Hubie in it, it all made sense.

I'm slowly cataloging the different cowls, shells and covers. Stay tuned! There may be a surprise or two!!
