Thanks to the research that Greg Hill did, Jill found the match for the red and white books in the Wayne Manor study sliding bookcase. They are from Encyclopedia Americana Century 21 Limited Edition - Seattle 1962 World Fair Edition:

Saints be praised! At least I had “Americana” right - I feel like my eyes have been vindicated. I stared at that word in color, in black & white, sepia, negative image and even AI. Just couldn’t find anything via google.

Awesome find! They must be so rare, even Googling the name and doing an image search on your photo still doesn't pull up anything.
Are you going to try and buy some?

We are creating faux books (mainly for weight, partially for size). Jill found the pics on Worthpoint, for those that would like to know.

To me, those books appear to be either cream, beige or light yellow as opposed to white. I'm thinking that the '66 set decorators wouldn't have put white books in the case as they'd be too bright.Mark Racop wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 5:36 pm We are creating faux books (mainly for weight, partially for size).
