webarchive for Reservoir Films saved from 2009 who produced I guess this short film (see link below)
A lot of the links are active including the avi movie to download ( seems to be the same quality as the youtube), the interview doc is available, pressbook is available, screen poster etc

Re: Have you seen...The French Film?
Fun episode. Loved the French Film ever since I saw it back in 2006, genuinely cannot believe that is nearly 20 years ago! Honestly, this is the movie we were hoping that 2011 would be, but it's fair to say we were all rudely awakened from that dream with the announcement of Seth Rogen's involvement.
Seeing as you mentioned it in the episode - it was really great to meet Greg in person finally at SDCC a few weeks ago. We had a great lunch together and i'm sure we could have easily sat there and yacked for another three days if there hadn't been a big-ole-convention out there to enjoy!

John...As always...you amaze me! Thanks for the find on this. I did reach out to the director several times and did not get an answer.A. Pennyworth wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:05 pm webarchive for Reservoir Films saved from 2009 who produced I guess this short film (see link below)

For whatever reason the ,credits for the director of the short Hornet movie, Aurélien Poitrimoult ends in 2018.GMartin58 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 9:39 pmJohn...As always...you amaze me! However, the stunt actor that played the role of the Hornet, Emmanuel Lanzi is still active and he has credits through 2024. Perhaps attempting to contact Emmanuel Lanzi may produce results.

They made that movie and they also showed it in the "Action on Film" festival in Los Angeles. That film no matter what people think of it, is the best thing that has ever happened in recent years for the Green Hornet. It has a fresh take on the Hornet, but has kept the same character trait and story structure as the original Hornet. The bad guy who fights the bad guys!!

Re: Have you seen...The French Film?
Interestingly...thanks to Striker...I did reach out Emmanuel Lanzi (Manu) and had a really nice chat...as well as his connecting me to the director, Aurélien Poitrimoult! We may very well be looking at a Part 2 of "The French Film!"
Manu also passed this link on to me for a "Making of" video...although it's in French!
