I had to see it for myself. Gotta say I'm a bit shocked by the simplicity of the art.

Struggling to think of any analogous comparison and can’t.
What was the point to making such a chunk of plastic?

I don't know Lou. Good animation designs are still tight in their simplicity.
Maybe a coloring book version.

I did a limited edition 1/3rd scale bust with my Adam West portrait a few years ago.
This was just a rotocast resin cowl from that mold to see a similar display to the new product.

I stand by my previous assessment that the McFarlane “look” is very much “from memory” and that “memory” was cable reruns in 1994.
