Fiberglass Freaks Batman Museum grand opening
I saw a post at 13thDimension.com about the opening event for the Fiberglass Freaks Batman Museum, with photos by Jim Beard.
Congratulations to Mark Racop and his crew for pulling it off. The exhibits look really great, and I'm wondering if any other board members made it out for the event, and if there are any additional tidbits to report.

There were a few members trying to put a trip together, but Halloween night was a tough sell for some of us.
I ended up with about 150 treaters-- not a single Batman in the group. Kid who won the night was about 7 and he was in a full police uniform complete with body cam.

Well there’s board member Alex right there in the first picture. I do not immediately recognize Batman. The Batcave is very impressive, as is the Wayne study and gift shop. Well done Mark!! Congratulations on getting this project finished, it nay be a few months before I can get out there but I’m looking forward to seeing it!

Huge congrats to Mark and the team on a long road to their big opening this week! Sad to not have been able to make it up to Indiana this week for the festivities, but as Andy mentioned, we're aiming to put together a Message Board members meet up at the Museum in January... More on that to follow!

I'm truly honored to have some of my portrait work featured in the store. Thanks Mark!! I can't wait to see the museum in person.

Sorry for the delayed response:
Thanks so much for your kind comments, guys. It has been wonderful to watch as jaws drop, grins grow, and the twinkles in the eyes emerge. I look forward to showing you folks soon!

The Batman Museum is highly recommended!!!
Me and a friend Walt went yesterday and talked with Mark. Pictures don't do the museum justice. A lot of fun was the audience participation climbing up the bat ropes and you can have your friend look out the window. You can operate the Shakespeare bust knob and see the bookcase move. In the bat cave section you can stand by the Batpoles. My friend has the other pictures and I'll post those later. Being in the TV show sets was a lot of fun. Definitely this is something all 1966 fans should visit.
