Batgirl's Batcycle

Post by Bat-Mite »

Im trying to 3d print a Batgirl's Batcycle into a 3d model in scale with my 5.5 batgirl figure.

Are there any blueprints out there of her batcycle?

I didn't find any blueprints, but I found an image showing the HotWheels version from different angles. It didn't have great resolution, but I took it into Photoshop and increased what I could and did a black and white version. Hope it helps!

Of course, we now have the McFarlane version. And the Mattel Batgirl (with Yvonne's likeness) fits onto it perfectly.

I already had the tiny HotWheels three-pack with a Batgirlcycle (white rear bow) and the Eaglemoss version (yellow rear bow):

Yellow rear bow? Odd.

I am guessing this was made first and maybe its rigidity made it very fragile? The ends are almost touching the road surface.

This is definitely the shape used on the back of the McFarlane toy. And I painted mine yellow just before finding all of the stills with the flimsy, gauzier, white bow. (I could always repaint it white, but I am liking the colour balance for the toy.)

BTW: if Batgirl had a Batgirlboat, would the bow be on the bow, or the stern? :)

I realised today that my old Hot Wheels vehicle set was still factory-sealed. I am an opener, usually, and I often find that old transparent stickers or stickytape can discolour, or threaten to peel of print from the cardboard. So, because I wanted to photograph the tiny Batgirlcycle, I carefully removed the old stickers.

Here are the three Batgirlcycles: the tiny Hot Wheels version, the Eaglemoss (which is almost in scale with the Funko figures) and the new McFarlane Toys version for the 6" figures. (And Mattel Batgirl fits, too.)
