It's certainly made me stop whining about the -1 degree wind chills we've been dealing with here in the Northeast. We have friends and family in LA who have all evacuated. I can't imagine what they're going through.

Very true Andy - it's not really OT when it affects so many of our board members. I can't even imagine what folks are going through in Southern CA...the news reports are just horrific. Sending all good thoughts your way.

Thanks to all of you who reached out this week, both on and off the board, I genuinely appreciate it.

My wife and I live plenty north of the current areas affected, though I have actually been working away all of this week in Orange County.

It’s been a truly terrifying week and it’s far from over yet. We know a lot of folks who have been evacuated and sadly a couple of those people actually lost their homes entirely, mere hours after leaving.

As Ben said, I've been working with him in Orange County all week. My wife and I live about 50 plus miles East of where the fires are active in Los Angeles and about 40 east of the ones going on in the Pasadena area. We're safe. We're okay. Many of our friends are much closer to danger and have either evacuated or just having to monitor the progress closely and getting prepared.
