That's actually pretty cool. The Super Powers collection really brings back the memories. Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks! It looks even better in person. The figure looks so much like the José Luis García-López (praised be his name) art on the package!Yellow Oval wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 4:26 pm That's actually pretty cool. The Super Powers collection really brings back the memories. Congrats on the purchase.

Batboat with Trailer now shipping
For our US-based Corgi Model Club members who want to order the Batboat, it is now in your customer portal. Please place your order before the 20th August to help give us a fighting chance of dispatching your models so they reach the USA before the de-minimis is removed on the 29th August.
Even though there has recently been an announcement that tariff increases are being postponed for 90 days, all goods entering the USA after the 29th August will still be liable for the previously agreed tariffs – which is currently set at 30% because our model manufacturing currently takes place in China. The tariff will be applied to the product value of the order amount.
We are still seeking final clarification on what our new procedures of delivery into the USA will be – as well as confirmed pricing. We promise to keep everybody informed as soon as we have more information.

I am having something along these lines drawn by Patrick Owsley. It should be nifty when it’s done.

Just found out that they also did this version for “DC Comics Presents” Batman #1.

The covers point out how much better Batman's costume was in the 1960s vs what we get today.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Well, I definitely don't need my reading glasses for that one!

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
These are my 1/6th scale Bruce, Dick and Alfred from Unleashed Viper customs. Dick Grayson I left untouched, just as he came. The only thing I used from the Bruce Wayne figure was the head. I put it on a taller body and bought custom clothing items off of eBay. I made the ascot and handkerchief from some blue taffeta.
The Alfred figure I just completed this weekend. Again, the only thing I used from the original was the head. I put it on an extremely tall Haoyu Toys Super Sportsman 2.0 body (basically a basketball player body). The suit is custom made by Gee Whiz customs. And the glasses are some clear glasses from eBay colored with an alcohol marker to match Alfred's actual glasses. It took about 9 months for the custom suit to be completed, so I've waited a long time to see them all together. Given Alan Napier's height and how hard it is to find a suitable body that tall, I'm very happy with how it turned out scalewise.
