Guys:
Here are a few new pics of the panels on the lower half of the AP!
The left hand panel took several weekends to model and several prototypes were printed, and changed elements of the panel!
The prototypes only took about and hour to print, the final colorized panel took 2 days 30 minutes to print!
Let me know what you think! We are also going to add more detail to the middle panel after we get the right side panel printed!

Enjoy

Charles

(Paraphrasing Billy Crystal): “That looks marvelous!”

VERY nicely done. I’m pretty sure anyone on this board would love to have one. Good show, STP and son!

That's looking awesome! Great details.

I'm guessing that you didn't have a 3D printer five years ago when you started this project? It's cool how you are using it now in combination with the older model parts.

What I like best is that your son is working on it with you! Im jealous of that. I cant get my boys interested in printing or Batman.

Here are a few new pics of the panels on the lower half of the AP!
The right hand panel took two weekends to model and a prototypes was printed!
The prototype had to be cancelled because the colors were not right, the final colorized panel took 2 days 30 minutes to print!
