I saw a bit more in-depth and less monotone review on YouTube which was not at all positive. He tried every figure he had in it and they all looked a little small. He didn't want to try his 7" Batman because he didn't want to break the wires. From what I saw the 7" fits, I don't think it will fit Mego or even the 8" Beast Kingdom Batman and Robin who are slightly slimmer.

I have the Beast Kingdom and the 7 inch Mcfarlane Batmen, they are about the same width. The Beast Kingdom figures may sit a little taller, although they are MUCH more poseable. I think they will not only fit, But would fit more easily.

From the Toy Ventures newsletter, it looks like Mego will fit.

I'll still wait and see if I can get it on clearance for about $30-- more than that, eh. I'm out.

I was a bit puzzled by the Jayna and Gleek set being on a "Red Platinum" card but, rather than a limited paint alteration, the red sticker just means that the figures are rarer in the wave.

I have read online complaints about Gleek being a non-articulated figure, but I just noticed that the Gleek that came from Figures Toy Company (FTC) is not so different in scale...

So Mcfarlane just made the batmobile bigger and it cost more. Doors, hood, trunk don't open, no lights and no sound. I'm happy with my $30 Mcfarlane version to be honest. The you tube reviews agree with me for the same reasons.
I'm a big fan of Batman 1966 and other Batman movies too. I collect Batman cars, figures, collectibles and have many interests. https://www.instagram.com/antman.cosplayer/

Good video for comparison. Always did prefer the Mattel, which is the only 1/12 version I have on display.

I think I saw some additional paint detail on the dash for the Multiverse version over the 1/12 version. Still has the same stubby proportions, though.

I’m hoping Mattel will do something different with their license when they get it back. Would really love to see an affordable version of a 1/6 Batmobile, if it doesn’t run afoul of JazzInc’s license.

Yeah, I'm probably passing on it too. It's way better than a vintage Mego Batmobile but not as detailed as the Mattel one.
I will admit it has a cool beefy profile to it. Not exact accurate proportions but racier looking. Happy that we are still getting 66 Batman stuff though.

Completely agree with all of the criticisms of the 7” McFarlane car, it really is a lazy, scaled up reissue of their already clumsy 6” version that I already bought… haha

That being said, the only reason I will go ahead and get this one is because it looks like it will be a great fit for the beast kingdom 1/10 scale figures. In lieu of a better Batmobile option for those at the moment.

The "It really sucks" text from the YouTube video just made me fall out of my chair laughing. Funny because it's true!

The Mego Batmobile was great because it was a toy-- I drove that thing off literal cliffs when I was a kid and it held up-- try sending the McBatmobile over and say goodbye to $80. There's something to be said for an item being a toy and not an adult collectible.
There are several of us keeping our eyes open for a price drop-- we saw the McCowl 1:1 drop to $30 from it's $150 retail point, not out of the question to see this discounted sometime.

Anybody see the Zan and Jayna in the wild yet? Particularly in Massachusetts?

Some videos I found posted at the Mego Museum using the Beast Kingdom figures:
