Mego's 8-inch figures made improvements over their production lifespan, and I still believe they're among the best action figures of any line of the 1970s. Regarding Captain Action, that was before my time, but my older brothers had a few, and I was not too impressed, thanks to the bodies using the same rickety styling / construction as an artist's wood mannequin, while most of the faces were butt ugly, with that "sour old man" look. The best costumes were the Lone Ranger and his "cousin" creation, The Green Hornet, but the uniform box packaging was the line's best asset.
