Though it still looks large to me (probably because of the scale of the belt) it's probably the best way to go. 7/8" across...just like the Hot Toys.

I Barge glued it on, so it's now a permanent addition.

Now to do something about those sad, floppy ears.

Actually, 5" in 1/6 scale is .83 (5" divided by 6, indeed roughly 13/16) so the Hot Toys is too big (roughly .88) and Tony's is too small (.75).

That would make the buckle of the figure too small if it's just 3/4" wide, a 4.5" wide buckle when it should be 5".

I think on this figure the slightly larger emblem looks better...

You're a genius, Chuck. Thanks for crunching the numbers on this conundrum!

If you figured this out, why didn't the numbskulls at Hot Toys do this math before approving their prototype? Maybe they figured that everyone would just happily shell out 250 smackeroonies and not care.
